Many people after having decided and started the sport give up after a few days especially when it is about doing the sport alone at home. They lose motivation after a few sessions. So you need to know some tips that will motivate you not to give up.
Here are some tips that will help you stay motivated.
Find out what motivates you
Before you start working out, take a moment and ask yourself what motivates you to start; Is it to feel better? Is it to lose weight? Is it to build muscle? Etc. You need to find out what makes you want to do the sport.
Once you've identified it, write it down somewhere. This will keep you going.
Set goals for yourself
You need to set goals for yourself. The goals you set should be realistic by not exaggerating. You should always start with simple and easy to achieve goals. You will be able to increase the level over time.
For your information, the WHO (World Health Organization) recommends a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate or 75 minutes of intense sport activity per week for 18-64 year olds to maintain good health.
Plan your sessions
Once you have defined the objective to be reached, plan your sessions according to the objectives. Define the day, duration and content of your sessions. You can define the times that suit you according to your schedule, but also the times of day when you are most motivated.
Don't do it alone
You are more motivated when you do sports activities in a group. You can therefore involve your husband or your children in your sports sessions at home. You can also do them with your friends by videoconference
These few tips will help you keep your energy up and motivate you whenever you feel like giving up
