Rotary Storyland & Playland Kick Off 2012 Season

Rotary Storyland & Playland are once again opening for a new season and 2012 holds a very special milestone for one of the two beloved Central California Parks. Rotary Storyland celebrates 50 years of fairytales and fantasy this season while Playland opens for its 57th season respectively. It all begins this Friday with some exciting new improvements in the works as well as a new set of operational hours.

New in 2012 is a renovation of King Arthur's Castle that will soon allow guests to once again visit the roof of the castle, a continued renovation of Playland's historic carousel as well as a new gift shop expected to open this month. On top of those significant projects, both parks continue to enhance the guest experience with a world-class team ready to welcome guests as well as even more landscaping improvements.

Guest feedback has brought Storyland & Playland to change its hours of operation this season as well. The new hours keep Playland open a little later each operational day and opens Storyland earlier. Rotary Storyland throughout the spring will be open each Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 9:00am-4:00pm. Rotary Playland will be open Saturdays & Sundays from 10:00am-6:00pm. The new park hours mean guests have even more opportunity to visit the parks with extended hours. Park officials have also added two new memberships for smaller families.

New memberships for families of two or three have been added so that there is a membership no matter what your need may be.
